So near and yet so far at Warwick 2011…

Gwynfa finished joint first in the plate final of the National DPI Championships at Warwick but failed to collect the trophy after a nail biting tie break. The other WPF representatives, Bridgend and District also put up a very creditable performance.

Cotwswold Monochrome Gold Medal for Dave Lingham

Congratulations to Dave Lingham FRPS of Gwynfa Camera Club who had great success at the 2011 Cotswold Monochome salon. His print entitled ‘Porthgain Harbour’ was highly commended and his print ‘Surf Line’ was awarded a Gold Medal. Well done indeed.

Very well done to Jenny Hibbert AWPF MPAGB who had a print accepted in the RPS Print Exhibition. There were 2500 prints entered & they chose 123 so to have a print accepted is marvellous. The print accepted was Hard Times for Polar Bears.

Colin Kelly gets his CPAGB
