[…] Congratulations to Norman Lemon of Neath PS who, at the recent Cotswold Salon, received a selectors award from Barbie Lindsay for his print ‘SA1-1AS‘ (see below). Alan Shepherd of Gwynfa Camera Club not only had 5 out of 9 prints accepted in the 2015 Cotswold Salon, he also had a highly commended and a Silver Medal for ‘Steelworks Reflection. Well done Alan. Ian Ledgard of Towy Valley CC has just gained his Four Crowns award, UPI-Cr4 from UPI. United Photographers International sponsor many international salons along with PSA and FIAP. Further details on the UPI can be found at www.upiphoto.eu Alan Shepherd of Gwynfa Camera Club has won a Gold Medal in the 91st Scottish Print salon with his monochrome print entitled “The Waterfallâ€. Well done Alan! Well done to Ian Ledgard who has been awarded a Galaxy 1 in the PSA Electronic Imaging Division. The awards and acceptances for the Port Talbot International Salon are now available on their website. Follow the link to the salon results. Ian Ledgard has earned further recognition from the Photographic Society of America with the award of a Second Galaxy in the Colour Projected Image Division. He has also gained more stars from the Pictorial Print Division Monochrome section with First stars for both Large and Small prints. Congratulations to Dave Lingham FRPS of Gwynfa Camera Club who had great success at the 2011 Cotswold Monochome salon. His print entitled ‘Porthgain Harbour’ was highly commended and his print ‘Surf Line’ was awarded a Gold Medal. Well done indeed. There were over 15,500 photographs entered in the 2010 Welsh Interntional Projected Images Salon with just over 3241 being accepted, 248 of them from members of W.P.F. clubs.
