FIAP Photographer’s Card

As from 1st January 2019, applicants will have to apply for their Photographer’s Card directly from FIAP and not via their FIAP Liaison Officer.  They must have a card BEFORE they submit their first application for AFIAP.  There will be a charge to update your card following each level of distinction.  Details can be found on the FIAP website.  Entries this year will be dealt with by me, as in previous years.

FIAP Distinctions

Just to remind you that the closing date for FIAP distinctions this year is 10th September 2018.

I will need your dossiers for checking WELL BEFORE that date, even if they are not completely ready.  If they arrive on the 10th and I have not previously seen them, then I will not have time to check them all, and they will miss the FIAP deadline.  I NEED THEM NOW!

Be aware that FIAP have to have the salon files in their possession for the acceptance to count.  YOUR  record from the salon is not seen as an acceptance.  Therefore there is little point in counting an acceptance that has come in just before the closing date.  You are taking a chance that it will be accepted by FIAP.

Before emailing me – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ THE “HOW TO” FORM THAT I SENT TO ALL OF YOU – most of the answers are there!

PAGB National PDI Championships – Warwick

Please find theWarwick results below. Congratulations once again to Inn Focus for getting into the final 8 and finishing 6th!

This means they get an automatic entry into the 2019 event and we still get the opportunity for another 2 of our Clubs to go as well.

My congratulations to both Tenby and Western Valley who acquitted themselves well and had some good individual scores – I’m sure you enjoyed your day out.
