We use this information to keep you informed of the WPF Annual Conference and associated matters. We do not sell or disclose this information to third parties.

The postal address is used to provide hard copy when so requested and agreed but the email address is the normal, or default method of sending information. A phone number may be used in case of urgency or if any difficulties arise with electronic and/or postal mail services. Information on WPF Conferences is freely available on the WPF website and also from time to time on the WPF Facebook page.

If you attend any WPF Convention or Conference we will record your name in case we need to evacuate the building and account for those present. In the case of a Residential Event we will pass on your details to the Accommodation provider for similar reasons and also to enable the return of lost property.

It is your personal responsibility to communicate any relevant disabilities and allergies directly to the providers of accommodation and/or food. We use this information (if made available to us) in order to better inform our Conference planning and operations.

We do not collect any personal financial information other than “payment made or payment due”. If Paypal is used as the payments system we have no access to that Payments information.

If you wish to make public posts on WPF social media (messages and/or images), your name and email address will be needed to enable access and administer that social media. We may respond to your posts in a similar public manner and/or use those details to contact you directly and/or privately.

If you have any queries about the above, or want to exercise your rights to see, correct or delete your data, please contact the WPF Conventions Secretary at If we do not deal with your enquiry in a satisfactory manner you have the right to appeal to the UK Information Commissioner.

Carmarthen Conference 2018

Each year the W.P.F. organises a photographic conference. This year it was held at the University of Wales, Trinity College, Carmarthen in the Halliwell Centre. It is the only one of its kind to be held in Wales!

The Conference is a chance for photographers from the whole of Wales to get together to share their enthusiasm, exchange ideas and maybe learn something new along the way. Each year we bring in the very best guest speakers and presenters and provide a full and varied programme for the whole weekend.

This years conference took place between Friday 24th  and Sunday 26th August 2018. The following images  taken by Nicky Rhodes of Carmarthen camera Club show the weekends proceedings :
