Memorial Weekend

We had a very good weekend with the PAGB team of Gordon Jenkins, Rod Wheelans, Ann Greiner and Richard Speirs.

On Saturday we had an Awards workshop which went well with the team giving advice to a well-attended audience. Those who brought along prints and PDIs to be assessed were not disappointed and had a one-to-one with one of the team.

On Sunday we had our three memorial competitions with a mono competition first with a set of 4 prints being judged by Rod.  This competition is in its second year and well supported, the winning club being Bridgend. Second was our PDI competition judged by Gordon and Richard again another well supported competition with Gordon and Richard enlightening the event with a bit of banter, Tenby coming out on top. The last of the day was a colour print competition judged by Rod and Ann 4 prints per club again with Tenby topping the list with 70 points and coming first. Well done Tenby and Bridgend. Both days ran like clockwork with the executive team all knowing what had to be done.  My thanks to all who helped and all the clubs who took part, A very enjoyable weekend.

Details of the full results can be seen in other posts…
